For services that affect youth to be just, relevant and inclusive, youth must be part of designing them. Meaningful youth participation is therefore a condition that must be actively facilitated in municipal service design. These commitments guide how we currently approach such facilitation in the Re:Structure project.

We make these commitments visible and open to public reflection, critique and dialogue. While they guide what we do, they remain alive: we actively test, challenge and revise them together with youth and others as the research unfolds, learning what meaningful participation requires in practice.
